If you’re like millions of others in the world, you wait until last minute to figure out a gift for that special someone. You rush around, hoping to find that perfect gift and praying it doesn’t cost a fortune. Well, I have a better idea. Instead of buying a gift, put some heart into it… and make it.
If you have a camera, you’ll love this idea. You can even get the kids involved as it will help them look at the world in a whole different way. Confused? Keep reading….
Walk around your home, your yard, a park, etc and try to pick out letters. You can spell out that special someone’s name, using this technique. The photo’s I took today (seen in this post) create the word’s “mom” and “dad”. I went with something very simple so I could show you how the letters work together to form a word. You can spell anything you want.
After you’ve taken photos, you can print them out and frame them – a heartfelt gift that displays like art and costs almost nothing! Enjoy!

Great idea Renee~!!! I can’t wait to try this with Ben. He is learning to read and is starting to really get into identifying letters. Not only can we make gifts this way, we can help him learn while we do it! Love you lady!
